On getting to OUIDAH - BENIN REPUBLIC🇧🇯 .

@meeracool_

HEY GUYS .

                  In this post, I’ll be giving you an insight of my Experience and Stay in ouidah. Benin Republic. On arriving ouidah , I had a flat battery on my phone. I got to ask people around. I’m going to Belami Hotel, they spoke French back to me. Ghen ghen !!! The only thing I understand in French is greetings and introductions, and that’s all.
         The rest, let’s leave it to God 😂. I walked a distance, called an okada (bike)man as their main means of transportation is okada and that’s what they call it, okada in Benin Republic. Both men and women ride them.
        At that time already, i checked my phone, my booking mail to check the address so I told the okada man the address. He still wouldn’t get it !!!! Now I was pissed. Why in the hell would anyone not understand English in a town !!!!  He left. Just across the road i saw a young girl of about 19years old i think.
     So I felt relieved and walked towards her, thinking because she’s young, she probably should understand English.
         Ladies and gentlemen, I lied to myself. She didn’t understand a word in English. The only thing she said was, “ Anglais” and shook her head. I was already spending close to an hour on this main road. I tried to call the number of the hotel, it wasn’t reachable, then I realised that, ‘ kasala don burst ! Meaning ( I’m in big trouble and mess !!!!!!).
To be continued...
